Unlocking Careers Event Series
These on campus events for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students grades 9-12 explore the wide variety of study career options in specific areas of study. Students will also attend a Yarn-Up Q&A session and hear from inspiring Indigenous professionals working in those fields.
Unlocking Careers in Sport and Health
Date: Friday 5 June 2026
Location: Building EE, Parramatta South Campus
Time: 9:30am - 2:00pm
Who: Aboriginal and Torres Strait High School students in grades 9-10. Parents and caregivers are also welcome to attend.
Lunch: A free lunch will be provided to all students
Transportation: Schools/students are expected to arrange their own transportation. If lack of transportation prohibits your attendance, please reach out to discuss alternatives.
Yarn Up Q&A
Hear from Indigenous professionals working in the Health and Sport Industries. Speakers will share about their study and career journey before the opportunity for student questions.
Students can elect to participate in 3 of the following practical workshops:
