Emergency Accommodation
The University cares deeply about the safety and wellbeing of all staff. In times of crisis—such as natural disasters like floods, bushfires, or other emergencies—we offer temporary emergency accommodation to support those affected.
This short-term housing provides a safe and comfortable space for staff who may need immediate shelter while making longer-term arrangements. The University’s goal is to ensure that no one faces difficult circumstances alone, and that practical help is available when it’s needed most.

Relocation and Visiting Academics
The University offers a number of comfortable on-site cottages for visiting academics, research fellows, and staff who are in the process of relocating. These cottages are designed to provide a relaxed and private living environment, with flexible layouts that can suit a variety of needs.
Each cottage comes fully furnished and includes modern amenities such as kitchen and laundry facilities, making it easy for guests to settle in and feel at home from the moment they arrive. Located away from busy student areas, the cottages provide a quiet and peaceful atmosphere that’s ideal for focusing on work or simply enjoying some downtime.
