Creative Arts Research at Western
Candidates are required to undertake the development of a body of original creative work within their chosen discipline. This must be supported by a written exegesis explaining the contextual and theoretical underpinning of the creative work.

Art Gallery Manager
As an art gallery manager, you will be responsible for the commercial and artistic success of a gallery. You will liaise directly with artists and dealers, organise exhibitions and manage the ongoing operation of the gallery.

Artistic Professional
This is a broad career pathway that could include opportunities such as film maker, performing artist, musician, painter, sculptor or producer. You may work for an industry-based production company, in a government-supported role or even as an independent artist.

Museum Curator

*The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the program (80 credit points) per annum, unless the total duration of the program is less than 80CP. International students will be subject to a variable fee regime; i.e. enrolled students will be required to pay fees during their program based on the approved fee for each calendar year. Fee changes (if any) will occur at 1 January each calendar year. Students who extend their program past the normal finish date of the program will be required to pay additional fees based on the prevailing fee level.
