This program is designed for students who have completed undergraduate studies in architecture and are looking to gain the required professional degree required for registration as an Architect in Australia. Completion of the Master of Architecture (Urban Transformation) will also prepare students seeking to undertake doctoral level study with the necessary degree to seek admission as a higher degree by research candidate.

Our small class sizes will ensure you get dedicated support as you complete a design-research thesis to demonstrate your ability to think independently, critically, and to resolve complex design issues. Additional studies in urban and contemporary architectural theory, building and design technology, electives, and professional practice constitute the overall degree. In Spring 2021, the program will be offered at Parramatta City Campus, in the new Engineering Innovation Hub at 6 Hassall St, Parramatta.

Architect
Architects design commercial, industrial, institutional, residential and recreational buildings.
*The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the program (80 credit points) per annum, unless the total duration of the program is less than 80CP. International students will be subject to a variable fee regime; i.e. enrolled students will be required to pay fees during their program based on the approved fee for each calendar year. Fee changes (if any) will occur at 1 January each calendar year. Students who extend their program past the normal finish date of the program will be required to pay additional fees based on the prevailing fee level. Western Sydney University is a multi-campus institution. The University reserves the right to alter the location of its programs between campuses and other locations as necessary.
