Frequently Asked Questions
An Undergraduate Certificate is a short course facilitated entirely online via intensive teaching sessions to suit the complex life circumstances
of the student.
The courses provide students 4 unit credits. Each unit is delivered over a six-week block, with a 2 week break in between to allow for grade completion and re-assessment where necessary. These online short courses can be completed in as little as 30 weeks.
HECS-HELP available to eligible students.
The Undergraduate Certificates are completely online. You do not need to attend a campus or do any practical work. There are no exams as the assessments are all focussed on real-world situations, so they will be case studies, quizzes relating to scenarios, presentations.
Upon successful completion of the course, an Undergraduate Certificate will be awarded. It can contribute up to 50% to a relevant Diploma course, which can eventually provide a pathway to an accredited undergraduate degree in the relevant fields.
The Undergraduate Certificates are open access courses. You do not need to have any qualifications or experience before you start studying.
Yes. Once you complete your course, you will apply to graduate and can attend a graduation ceremony if you wish. Your certificate will say that you graduated from Western Sydney University
