The Business Technology and Analytics Discipline is a dynamic, forward-looking academic team undertaking applied and impactful research examining how digital technologies and advanced business analytics enable novel operating models, capabilities and innovation to transform organisations, decision-making and work.

We deliver a future-oriented curriculum that focuses on the holistic integration of technologies, analytics, and AI to enable digital transformation in organisations. By equipping students with the ability to generate insights from diverse data sources, we prepare them to lead evidence-based decision-making and strategic initiatives. Our integrated approach to operations, logistics, supply chain management, and project management ensures students are adaptable and skilled at effectively managing organisations for operational excellence and resilience in constantly evolving environments. Our students build strong conceptual and practical capabilities to navigate the ethical, environmental and social dimensions of organisational decisions based on their learning in various activities, including case studies, simulations, and industry engagements. 

We are highly productive and engaged researchers dedicated to solving organisational challenges. We specialise in empirical research, utilising a comprehensive suite of qualitative, statistical, and operations research methods. Using such multi-method approaches, our research strengthens organisational capabilities driving improvements in productivity, resilience, and sustainable performance.
