The Climate Crisis and Young People's Health and Well-Being
Date: 25 June – 1 July 2023
Location: Melbourne
Join us at the ISA World Congress for Sociology, for a session on Young People, Resistance and Crisis: Mental Health and Climate, convened by Young & Resilient Co-director, Professor Philippa Collin with Dr Sanna Aaltonen and Professor Benjamin Tejerina.
The panel will consider the ways young people resist forms of resistance to crisis. The papers discussed focus on how young people are configuring, mobilising and making community responses to crisis of mental health and climate change.
In this joint session, we raise these questions and more, then ask what is being done to mitigate these problems. And what needs to be done?
Registration opens in November 2022. Watch this space for more details.
