26 June, 2025: Interview with Luigi Di Martino - SBS Radio Italian
In this interview, Luigi spoke on a topic he cares deeply about: “Is voting just a right – or should it also be a duty?”. He reflected on the broader importance of political participation, of which voting is just one form. As he said, participating in democracy can take many shapes: from protests and petitions to public dialogue and community engagement - and these forms matter just as much for keeping our democracies alive and representative.

South Australian Charlotte Walker is just 21-years-old and she's just become the nation's youngest ever senator. She's taken the sixth Senate spot for Labor in South Australia. She says she hopes to bring "a different perspective" to the Labor Party and admits she has a lot to learn but says she is "not naive." In the 2025 federal election, Gen Z and Millennial voters out-numbered older generations, helping create a landslide of support for Labor. So what does this tell us about the future of politics?
