The Study Lounge offers free face-to-face access to ALL College students in all courses for academic skills development, as well as timely maths, statistics and academic writing support. Build your skills and knowledge in a friendly environment with experienced Study Lounge Advisors.

Whether you are looking for assistance with time management, vUWS, mathematics, statistics, planning your assignment or improving your academic communication, the Study Lounge is your ‘one-stop shop’ for academic learning development. If you want a quiet space to read, to complete assignment work or just relax, the Study Lounge will provide you with the quiet space for all your needs.

What can I use the Study Lounge for?

  • To find a quiet space to study, meet friends or to use for quiet reflection
  • Allow you space to relax between classes
  • To give you access to study advisors who can help you with what is concerning you, for example:
    - Time Management
    - vUWS
    - Mathematics
    - Statistics and Numeracy Skills
    - Planning and Writing your Assessment
    - Improving your Communication

Where can I find a Study Lounge?

A Study Lounge is available on Bankstown, Kingswood and Nirimba campuses:

Bankstown: Building 17, Room 1.42
Kingswood: Building P, Room 1.31
Nirimba: Building U8, Rooms G.32 & G.33

When is the Study Lounge Open?

The Study Lounge on each campus will be open from Monday to Friday from 26 March to 1 June (closed during mid-term break and on public holidays). The Literacy and Maths/Stats advisors will help you with whatever questions you have to upgrade your skills.
