Dr Vanita Yadav

V_YadavDr Vanita Yadav is a Senior Research Fellow (Senior Lecturer- Research) at the Urban Transformations Research Centre, Western Sydney University. She specialises in Sustainable Business Strategies, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Strategy and Business Model Innovation. She has more than 12 years of diverse experience in research and academia spanning three countries- Australia, the USA and India. Dr Vanita is a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright fellowship award for research in sustainable entrepreneurship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. She was also a research affiliate at the South Asia Institute, Harvard University for her work on inclusive innovation which was cited by the government of India. She has led and worked on interdisciplinary international research projects/grants like the US State-Fulbright Foundation, the Government of India, the Indian Council of Social Science Research, the European Union, CRC and others. Dr Vanita has held many leadership positions, like Discipline Leader of the Management and Innovation discipline at the School of Business & Law, Central Queensland University Australia, and founding Chairperson/coordinator of a Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Strategy and Policy Area Chairperson at IRMA India. She has 50+ research publication outputs, supervises PhDs (business management area), serves on editorial boards, and speaks at international events as a keynote speaker and expert panellist.
