Thesis Title
Space Based Neuromorphic Vision Sensors for Space Situational Awareness and Atmospheric Observations
Research Project
I am using data collected by the US Air Force Falcon Neuro and Falcon ODIN space based neuromorphic vision sensors for a broad range of possible applications. The orbital platforms of Neuro and ODIN allow for new observations of stars, satellites, weather phenomena, and terrestrial features. These new observations will help to determine the limits of neuromorphic vision sensors, as well as highlighting comparative advantages of neuromorphic vision sensors in the space domain compared to traditional cameras.
Qualifications
- B.S in applied mathematics, University of Colorado, Boulder
- 3 years operating and performing data analysis on Falcon Neuro and Falcon ODIN
