Thesis Title
Optimized User Interface and Experience for Enhanced Clinical Data Surveillance
Research Project
This thesis focuses on optimizing the user interface and experience in a clinical data surveillance system by designing and developing hardware to acquire vital signals, including ECG and blood pressure data. It uses a Dot Morphic sensor, a next-generation, high-precision sensor capable of collecting physiological data from multiple body locations. By combining ECG and Morphic sensor data, the system enables non-invasive blood pressure monitoring. The hardware supports at least 5 channels, with a data transfer speed of 10 kHz. Key tasks include selecting suitable microprocessors or FPGAs, integrating high-speed ADCs, real-time data transmission to a PC, and designing a sensor calibration and evaluation device.
