FNS30322 Certificate III in Accounts Administration

This qualification reflects the role of individuals with functions that could include financial data entry, processing accounts and payrolls, providing customer service in financial transactions, and producing financial reports.

Individuals in these roles apply skills and knowledge to demonstrate autonomy and judgement and to take limited responsibility in known situations under general supervision.

  • Location
    Sydney Olympic Park Campus or Virtual Classroom.
  • Mode of Delivery
    The course is delivered using a blended learning model, combining face to face and self-paced learning with online support.
  • Course Duration
    This course comprises of 11 Workshops held over a 12-month period. Workshops are delivered on campus or via our virtual classroom.

    Students should also allow for 10-12 hours of self-guided learning per week. Time to complete the course may vary depending on experience and support needs.

What you need to study

Entry Requirements

Students should have a Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent to meet the LLN requirements of the course. Anyone without a Certificate will be required to complete a LLN assessment to ensure you have the level of skills and experience to undertake the training program.

  • FNSINC311 Work together in the financial services industry
  • FNSACC421 Prepare financial reports
  • FNSACM313 Process authorised payments
  • BSBTEC301 Design and produce business documents
  • BSBWHS211 Contribute to health and safety of self and others

Assessments

You will be required to complete knowledge based and practical assessments, these may include:

  • Question and Answers
  • Written Reports
  • Presentations
  • Projects
  • Demonstration in the workplace or in a simulated workplace environment

Students studying online, may be asked to submit videos as evidence of the application of practical skills.

Recognition of Prior Learning

You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT) provided you have supporting evidence of any prior education and work experience.

This can either reduce your study load or shorten the duration of your course.
