Acknowledgement of Country

Western Sydney University acknowledges the peoples of the Darug, Tharawal, Eora and Wiradjuri nations. We acknowledge that the teaching, learning and research undertaken across our campuses continues the teaching, learning and research that has occurred on these lands for tens of thousands of years.

Local. National. International.

Western Business Research Collaborative (WBRC) is a hub for multidisciplinary research, business education and global outreach, aimed at engaging with enterprises and communities locally, nationally and internationally. Research excellence, engagement and impact will be at the core of all our work.

WBRC Launch Video

WBRC will meet current and anticipate future needs of business enterprises and the community, conducting impactful research relevant to their needs, contributing new knowledge to our world. WBRC research activities can take various forms and include research partners in industry, the government, other institutions, not-for-profit sectors, and researchers from multiple countries. It is also a collaborative network of a variety of entities that are largely autonomous, geographically distributed, and heterogeneous in terms of their operating environment, culture, social capital and goals, but that collaborate to better achieve common or compatible goals.

Based out of Western Sydney Business School, WBRC researchers and research students will flourish in an environment where learning, scholarship, discovery and invention are encouraged. We will invite our community and industries to connect with us to explore new and innovative ways of doing business.  Innovations and inventions are not outcomes of single activity of any organization but a result of collaboration of different partners. We believe that collaborated research can enhance the ability of researchers to make significant advances in their fields

WBRC will aggregate information from various systems to expose the School of Business’ extensive research activities and its researchers.

We would like to welcome you to our website. We invite you to navigate through our work, connect with us and provide us with your feedback. We welcome your ideas that can help us become even better at our research fields.
