The conference will feature a doctoral workshop on its final day, offering PhD students the chance to meet peers, receive feedback from experienced discussants, and learn from one another.

- Associate Professor Dilupa Nakandala, Associate Dean- Graduate Studies, School of Business, Western Sydney University
Associate Professor Dilupa Nakandala is the Associate Dean – Graduate Studies of the School of Business, Western Sydney University. She does empirical and operations research on supply chain, technology and innovation management, and she has published her research in top-tier journals and received nationally competitive research grants. She has a multidisciplinary background, was trained in engineering, IT, and business and project management, and has over eight years of industry experience. She has translated her research on Industry 4.0 technology adoption by Australian firms into policy insights. She was also the lead author of the UNESCO World Science Report: towards 2030. Dilupa possesses diverse quantitative and qualitative research methods skills and broad networks and has conducted various empirical research projects.
- Dr Aila Khan, Academic Program Advisor, School of Business, Western Sydney University
- Dr Aila Khan is a senior lecturer in marketing and the Academic Program Advisor HDR of the School of Business, Western Sydney University. Aila received her PhD in 2012 from the University of Western Sydney. She lectures in Marketing Research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research interests span a range of areas, including social media, human-robot interaction, housing & construction and vegetable consumption behaviours. While her thesis focused on the use of Structural Equation Modelling, Aila is now exploring the use of different visual techniques for qualitative research.
