Open Door is pleased to welcome Mr Tony Wright and Ms Paula Edwards from the UK as its special guests and presenters for the first of its National Visiting Lecture Series in July 2022.

Open Door and its partner Trauma and Resilience Research Group, THRI, Western Sydney University, extend an invitation for you to attend this upcoming Public Lecture in Sydney on the topic: “The Experiences of UK Military Service Women and Veterans and responding to the needs and issues of Veterans with complex needs.”

In this public lecture, Tony Wright, Chief Executive of Forward Assist and Salute Her UK, and Paula Edwards, Salute Her UK Team Manager, will share insights and experiences from their recent innovative research and their clinical and support experience working with UK Military Service Members and Veterans with complex needs, with a special focus on the needs and experiences of UK Military Service Women and Veterans.

Tony and Paula are leading innovative applied research, as well as clinical and support services in the UK for Military Service Members and Veterans with complex needs, including support for almost 3,000 Military Service Women and Veterans via a dedicated service.

The lecture will be followed by a networking opportunity that will allow participants to talk with our special guests about points raised in the presentation or other issues related to the topic.
