ASPOG Conference 2016

Over the weekend, several THRI PhD candidates and researchers successfully showcased their research at the 42nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the ASPOG (Australian Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynaecology) in Hobart.

I am delighted to report that all presentations were excellent and very well received with Rosie Charter being awarded the ASPOG New Researcher Award. This Award recognises research quality, innovation and significance for an oral presentation at the conference by a new researcher.

Rosie presented on "Transgender parenting" and is supervised by Jane Ussher, Kerry Robinson and Janette Perz.

In addition to being a great achievement for Rosie and all the presenters, this is a positive reflection on the University.
