Abstract: Increasing amounts of electronic text is becoming accessible, such as from social media, customer feedback, and electronic book repositories. When compared to databases and other labelled datasets, this largely unstructured text data forms a great majority of all data. Text mining is a process of extracting structured numerical information about certain features of the body of text, and then selecting and potentially comparing salient subsets of the information.
