| Description | MARCS Monday Meeting (MMM) (Room 3.G.55 - Building 3) Presenter: Dr Dominque Estival Topic: Dialogue Acts in the AusTalk Map Tasks Abstract: Dr Estival will present the results of the AusTalk Map Task dialogue project, funded by the Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language (CoEDL) Transdisciplinary and Innovation Grant. The report will include an analysis of the 12 Map Task dialogues from the AusTalk corpus, which were annotated for Dialogue Acts. Gain insight into the annotation process and the results which presented significant differences across conversation role (information giver and follower) and gender.
