Topic: Sensing and Stimulating – Human I/O

Abstract: Much of the ongoing work in biomedical engineering at MARCS involves either putting signals into the human body, measuring signals generated within the body or the results of those signals. In this MMM, A/Prof Breen will update the group on progress across a number of projects which are growing our capabilities in these areas. While these projects range from detecting sleep apnea, to diagnosing concussion, to restoring balance, A/Prof Breen will show how all of these projects are intrinsically Human I/O problems to be solved.
