Martyna Gliniecka
Martyna holds a first PhD degree in Linguistics, specialising in cross-cultural communication, and MA and BA in Journalism and Social Communication from the University of Wroclaw, Poland.
She is an active member of the Young and Resilient Research Centre at WSU, aiming to better young people’s lives and their resilience in the domains of technology and health. She specialises in youth sociology, researching online communities and health discussions among teenagers with digital ethnography.
She has been a visiting scholar at several prestigious institutions worldwide, including the University of Pennsylvania in the US, Waseda University in Japan, and the Higher School of Economics in Russia. She was awarded a Fulbright Junior Research Award in 2017/2018.
