As the official pathways provider to Western Sydney University, The College offers a wide range of Higher Education Diploma programs to pave the way into your chosen university degree. Whether your ATAR didn't get you into university right away or you don't have an ATAR at all, our flexible entry requirements and variety of courses will help you get on track to achieving your tertiary study and career dreams.
NO TIME LOST. With an ATAR of 55, you can complete a Standard Diploma in just 12 months and upon successful completion, receive guaranteed entry into the second year of the corresponding bachelor degree at Western Sydney University.
FLEXIBLE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS. No ATAR? No worries. If you didn't qualify for an ATAR, didn't finish school or don't have any other equivalent study qualification, achieving your study and career dreams is still possible with The College. Our Extended Diploma (16 months) will equip you with all the skills you need to achieve at university, granting you access into second year at Western Sydney upon successful completion.
What Diplomas Can I Do?
Diplomas are available in the following fields:
- Communication and Design
- Construction, Engineering and Building Design Management
- Information and Communications Technology, and Health Information Management
- Health Science and Nursing
- Social Science, Policing and Criminal Justice
How Long Does It Take To Get A Diploma?
Domestic students can complete a Standard Diploma in three terms (12 months) or an Extended Diploma in four terms (16 months), depending on the course, and your ATAR or other qualifications. If you don't have an ATAR and don't have any other equivalent study qualification, you will be able to enrol in our Extended Diploma (4 Terms / 16 Months).
International students have the option of completing a Diploma in two, three or four terms, depending on the course, English language proficiency and previous qualifications.
