Panthers Premier League Netball
The Netball NSW Premier League, which will commence in 2016 (preseason – March, season – April), is a new competition to attract the best current and emerging talent within NSW. Its purpose is to offer a local, elite platform for players, coaches, officials and administrators, and provide bridging opportunities in to the Australian Netball League (ANL) and subsequent ANZ Championship. The University has entered a partnership agreement with Panthers Netball for their inaugural season. The University is proud to support women in sport and specifically women in sport representing Western Sydney. Western Sydney University student and Australian Diamond, Paige Hadley is also a member of the Panther Premier League team.
As well as the Western Sydney University logo being proudly displayed on their playing dresses, the partnership will offer engagement opportunities for our students including performance analysis, coaching, media & comms and sports business & administration. The competition will run from April to September and be played at Netball NSW Central at Sydney Olympic Park on Wednesday nights.
