What Did We Do?
The Business Improvement Team conducted 48 workshops involving over 91 participants, including professional staff, academics, and students. These sessions accurately mapped the current process and informed recommendations for improvement.
In collaboration with Finance Services and the Work Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, the following recommendations have been made:
- Streamline travel approval workflows
- Update current travel policy and associated procedures
- Enhance understanding and experience of travel-related procedures
- Simplify the risk assessment process for travel
- Improve student travel expense management practices
An action plan was discussed with the Steering Committee on 28 March. Each recommendation includes multiple actions with assigned owners.
