Guiding Principles

The Enterprise Service Management guiding principles have been developed to assist and influence services when making decisions and changes around service delivery and improvement.  The principles are designed to help the organisation foster and embed a service culture, increase staff engagement and promote quality service delivery partnerships.  They set the standard for service at Western, promoting our organisational values.  Our enterprise service management guiding principles are organised in three categories: service excellence principles, service design principles and service capability principles.

How we ensure the organisation has the capability to consistently deliver excellent services.

Service Design

How service areas can plan and arrange its people, processes and technology to improve service quality.

Service Capability

Practices implemented by all staff that help the organisation embed a service excellence capability in its people.
