Indigenous Scholarships
This category is for applicants who are Indigenous Australians, and who identify as an Indigenous Australian and are accepted as such by an Indigenous Australian community.
To apply for scholarships in this category you only need to submit one application through the Western Sydney University Scholarship Application Form. We will ask you a range of questions, and once we know more about you, we will assess your eligibility for each available scholarship in this category, and in the High Potential category.
Note: there is a separate application form for equity scholarships, please refer to the Equity Scholarships page.

If you are unable to provide the above, you will need to supply a self-declaration statutory declaration along with one of the following:
- Supporting documentation in the form of a genealogy document (such as Linkup NSW), OR
-
A letter of support using the Western Sydney University Community Confirmation Declaration form or a letter on official letterhead by a recognised community member or organisation (such as Aboriginal Medical Service, High School Principal, Aboriginal Education Consulting Group, Family and Community Services, Aboriginal Housing or other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander incorporated corporation).
Please note that the letter of support cannot be supplied by a current staff member of Western Sydney University.
The table below will be regularly updated in the coming months as new scholarships become available. By submitting an application form, you will automatically be considered for all scholarships released until the closing date.
