Confirmation of Identity:
- identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and submit documentation declaring and confirming Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity.

- Any undergraduate degree in the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment

In December 2022, the contract for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project’s Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations, and Maintenance (SSTOM) contract was awarded to Webuild, in collaboration with the Parklife Metro consortium. This includes the delivery of six new stations between St Marys and Aerotropolis, 12 new metro trains, core rail systems and a stabling and maintenance facility.
The Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project will provide major economic stimulus for Western Sydney, supporting more than 14,000 jobs during construction."
Application and Selection Process
Applications are to be submitted through the Western Sydney University scholarship form.
Applicants must provide a statement supporting their application indicating how they believe receiving the scholarship will assist them with their studies and future careers. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need and merit.
Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, ability to meet the criteria, and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.
Applications will be assessed by the Indigenous Scholarships Assessment Panel.
Continuing Eligibility Criteria
- Recipients must remain enrolled at Western.
- Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0
