BabyLab – Infant Research Centre at Western Sydney University

Western Sydney University supports groundbreaking research in early infancy.

Dyslexia affects one in ten children. Western Sydney University established BabyLab to research how speech and hearing, amongst other factors can influence a child's development and understanding. 

EucFace Facility - From Western to the Atmosphere

EucFACE is designed to predict the effects of rapidly rising atmospheric carbon dioxide on Australia's unique native forests.

Through research, data is collected to action methods towards protecting forests and their carbon stores, in order to help to slow climate change. 

Diabetes Prevention Program at Western

Western Sydney University approached four churches within the Samoan community to be part of the Diabetes Prevention Program.

The program is about world class research within the community, building support to help facilitate lifestyle changes on a day to day basis.

Western's Solar Powered Car

Western Sydney Solar Team showcased the definition of 'Unlimited' by creating the lightest solar car in the world, built entirely on campus. 

Using satellite grade solar cells within their car, the team entered the 2019 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
