At the Gastrointestinal Motility Clinic at Camden Hospital we offer a three course biofeedback program to the patient. This is a program to help the patients sense when their anal muscle is squeezed or relaxed and encourages them to improve this response until it becomes automatic. In addition, a tailored dietary guide is prepared to minimise faecal incontinence along with recommended medications to alleviate the skin irritations associated with frequent bowel action.
