Associate Professor Amir Faraji

Biography

Dr. Amir Faraji is Assistant professor in construction management, interested in blockchain, smart contract, building information modelling (BIM), digital twin, remote sensing, robotics, smart material, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), internet of things (IoT) and emerging technologies research areas. In addition, construction project manager and contract administrator in the client side, especially in the mega projects of the energy sector and petroleum industry who was responsible for project planning including diverse pre-projects' activities: estimation, tender process and bid overviews, selection of the most appropriate contractors and drafting of the contract and implementation. In the meantime, several construction international research in the field of construction contract management such as NSW-GC21 analysis and developing a dispute administration system in the level of portfolio, have been fulfilled.
