Associate Professor Ahad Javanmardi
Biography
Dr. Ahad Javanmardi holds an adjunct appointment with the College of Civil Engineering at Fuzhou University, China. Since May 2023, he has been a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Infrastructure Engineering, Western Sydney University. His experience spans both industry and academia.
His professional interests include structural engineering, condition assessment and inspection, infrastructure management, structural health monitoring, and digital engineering applications.
Areas of Research/Teaching Expertise
Dr. Javanmardi has hands-on experience in designing and conducting small-to-large-scale tests, operating hydraulic actuators (MTS and Instron), using 3-array shaking tables, and managing sensor installation and data acquisition systems.
