Doctor Amin Miri

Biography

Dr. Amin Miri is a researcher at Centre for Infrastructure Engineering at the School of Engineering Design and Built Environment (EBDE). He has been actively researching in the field of railway and bridge engineering for the past 10 years. He received his PhD from Queensland University of Technology in 2022. His thesis was focused on thermal interaction between railway tracks and girders of open deck truss bridges and the impacts of various types of fasteners on track buckling potential in transition zones of open decks bridges.
