Western Business Research Collaborative (WBRC) Launch Event
The School of Business is incredibly proud to have launched Western Business Research Collaborative (WBRC). The 16 May launch event was well attended by WSU staff & students, research & industry partners and well as members of our External Advisory Committee. We were pleased to welcome Dr Annette McLaren (Senior Policy Advisor & Project Manager) to the launch, who provided opening remarks on behalf of Professor Deborah Sweeney (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Enterprise, and International).
The purpose of WBRC is to provide a forum for our academics to work together with students, industry and community in areas of research that will bring about true impact and change in our local, national and global community. The WBRC aims to produce collaborative research that has academic impact and that also has far-reaching societal impact. To that end the School looks forward to the future collaborations with our WSU research partners and also the broader community.
We were pleased to be able to showcase three of our important impactful research projects at the WBRC launch.
We will be launching an in-depth view into each of these research projects in the coming weeks.
