Launch of the Urban Transformations Research Centre

We launched our Strategic Research Initiative – Urban Transformations Research Centre, in November 2022. At the launch, we introduced our leadership team, our interdisciplinary researchers and professional staff, and our external Strategic Advisory Board.

We address one of the greatest challenges facing humankind: How to transform our communities and infrastructure into sustainable, equitable and regenerative futures.

Our mission is to co-design with our industry and society partners impactful research outcomes. We will deliver these outcomes through three inter-related Research and Innovation Programs.

• Systems innovation and demonstration
• People-Centred Sustainable Precinct Design
• Resilient construction and infrastructure
