Getting Help and Support
More information about CPP, including eligibility and program requirements, is available through the Department of Education Commonwealth Prac Payment website and Frequently Asked Questions.
We are committed to providing a supportive and respectful service to students seeking assistance with CPP. We ask that all communication with staff remains respectful and appropriate. Aggressive, abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may be addressed in accordance with the University’s relevant policies and student misconduct procedure.
Who to contact for help:
For questions about your CPP application, eligibility, payments or supporting documentation, submit a support request through the CPP Student Portal.
After submitting a request, you will receive a ticket reference number by email. Keep this number if you need to follow up.
If additional information is requested, respond within five days. If no response is received, the support request will automatically close. You can submit a new request if you still require assistance.
Students may appeal a decision relating to their CPP eligibility or payment in accordance with the University’s appeal process for CPP decisions. Appeals must be lodged within 10 working days of notification of the decision.
Appeals must be sent to scholarships@westernsydney.edu.au
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the Student Welfare Service for further support. The Student Welfare Service can be contacted via welfareservice@westernsydney.edu.au or 1300 668 370 (option 5). Bookings can also be made directly using the online Booking Form.
