"What Parents Want: Talking about Gender and Sexuality Diversity in Schools" (or "What Parents Want" for short) is a package of research-based professional learning resources which aims to support educators in understanding gender and sexuality diverse young people's experiences at school.

The four components of the professional learning module can be accessed below.


"What Parents Want" – The Film

The research-based film, "What Parents Want: Talking about Gender and Sexuality Diversity in Schools", features the voices of parents of gender and sexuality diverse young people. They describe their child’s experiences, both positive and negative, at school.
