Position
Senior Staff Specialist Endocrinologist Camden, Campbelltown and Concord Hospitals.
Biography
I completed my MBBS in 1991 from University of NSW and my FRACP as an endocrinologist in 2002. I then worked both in the public and private sector as an endocrinologist, but in 2009 transferred over completely to the public sector to be able to manage adults with severe obesity and significant obesity related comorbidities with both intensive lifestyle programs and bariatric surgery.
I have already established 2 non-surgical obesity management programs (Concord & Camden Hospitals) & have coordinated NSW’s only publically funded bariatric surgery program since 2009. I am passionate about helping to establish obesity services in all NSW public hospitals.
