WELCOME TO WESTERN
Welcome to Western Sydney University’s Orientation. Orientation is one of the first steps in your Unlimited journey. Take this opportunity to find out more information about your course, learn about the support services we offer, meet some of your academics and fellow students, or just virtually explore your campus a bit more.
Online Events and Activities Calendar
While we wait for further advice for on campus activity, there's still plenty of opportunities for you to connect with Western and get to know other students through online events and activities.
In guidance with the developing government and health advice, we are planning a range of activities and entertainment events to welcome you to Western both online and on campus when it is safe to do so. Find out more via WESTERNLife and register for events today.
Acknowledgement of Country
With respect for Aboriginal cultural protocol and out of recognition that its campuses occupy their traditional lands, Western Sydney University acknowledges the Darug, Eora, Dharawal (also referred to as Tharawal) and Wiradjuri peoples and thanks them for their support of its work in their lands in Greater Western Sydney and beyond.
This is your opportunity to meet your future lecturers and learn more about your course structure, expectations and the support services available.
You're at the start of one of the most memorable periods of your life. Besides the many friends to be made, social life and other university mainstays, your time at university will challenge you, inspire you, and most of all prepare you for your future.
It is important that you enrol into your units and register for your tutorials. See the information below to get started now.
Enrolling is the first and most important thing you need to do when starting at Western Sydney University. You need to complete your enrolment in My Student Records (MySR).
Before enrolling, International Students must accept their offer and activate their account. Please view the How to Accept page for step by step instructions.
Tutorial Registration is how you choose your tutorials (and other classes) and put together your timetable. Allocate+ is the online system used to complete this process.
You'll need to make sure you are enrolled in all of your units. After being allocated into your classes, you may be able to swap classes depending on availability.
TalkCampus allows you to talk anonymously to other students from universities around the world. Access 24/7 free mental health support.
Parking on campus
Planning on driving to campus? Get ready with a permit for your upcoming session. We have daily, half-yearly and annual permits available.
At Western, the welfare of our students is our priority. That’s why we provide multiple support services to ensure your transition goes smoothly.
As a student at Western Sydney University, you become part of a dynamic, thriving and culturally rich community.
