Australian Media Literacy Summit

More than 200+ participants took part in the Inaugural 2023 Australian Media Literacy Summit. The Minister for Communications, the Hon Michelle Rowland MP opened the event and stated that the Federal Government is "making media literacy a national priority." The Director of the National Association for Media Literacy in the United States, Michelle Ciulla Lipkin provided the opening keynote, while ABC journalist Jan Fran provided the closing keynote. This event was co-organised with the Australian Media Literacy Alliance. Funding for the event was provided with Meta Australia.
