The Bachelor of Communication is accredited by professional organisations including the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and the Media Federation of Australia (MFA).

Graduates of this program can look forward to a career in the media and communication industry, in areas such as digital communication, advertising, TV and media production, media research and production, public relations strategy, brand and client management, and events and liaison.

As a graduate of this degree, you can look forward to career opportunities as a writer, market researcher, creative director, journalist, photographer, composer, or media producer.

The major in Media Arts Production covers a variety of digital platform production practices including short film, documentary, experimental, transmedia and TV. The interdisciplinary sub-major in Cultural and Social Analysis offers contemporary debates and methodologies in cultural studies and social theory.

The HSC True Reward early offer program gives school leavers much needed peace of mind, providing an early offer into most courses at Western Sydney University based on Year 11 or Year 12 subject results.
