Mr David Chandler

Biography

David Chandler OAM FAIB , graduated in Building Science at UNSW. He has extensive construction industry experience across the Australian and Asia Pacific markets. David was a foundation member of the Project Management Institute in Australia. He has led a range of reviews and reports into construction in the Australia's construction industry. He was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 1989 for services to the industry. His interests follow developments in construction methods, innovation, learning, productivity and the effects of industrialisation and globalisation in construction across these markets. He is a leader of insights into Modern Methods of Construction and Enterprises. He is regularly engaged to advise on public and private project procurement and delivery. He advises enterprises and mentors young constructors on how they may prepare for, and embrace the many new opportunities that the modern construction era will offer. He is the Industry Engagement Lead for the c4SMC initiative in the Construction Management program at Western Sydney University.
