Biography

Vincent Tay teaches and researches many aspects of screen media. He collaborates regularly with colleagues to support complex, multi-layered research projects with his filmmaking expertise.

He is an active filmmaker with 30 years experience working across all genres, and all formats of film and digital. He also works regularly on television productions. His filmography can be accessed at his IMDB page (www.imdb.com/name/nm2574393)

In his previous life, Vincent had a successful career as a barrister in Singapore, where he headed the litigation, arbitration and shipping departments in a firm of 80 lawyers. He won a landmark case in family law which was widely reported at the time.
