Biography

Dr Khalil Al Jerjawi Lectures in Human Resource Management, Employment Relations and Management (for the Executive MBA Program, Master of Commerce HRM and Bachelor of Business). 

Khalil’s PhD thesis has examined "The Role of Human Resource Executives in Merger: A Comparative Case Study of Two Bank Mergers [The Merger of Westpac Corporation and St. George Bank (AUS) & The Merger of Emirates Bank International and National Bank of Dubai (UAE)]".

Khalil has been appointed as an academic referee and a reviewer of the Journal of Global Business Advancement and the International Journal of Public Sector Performance Management.

Khalil's research track record is in strategic human resource management and employment relations, and has participated in varied international academic conferences.

Prior to joining Western Sydney University, Khalil Lectured at Macquarie University and Central Queensland University.

At Western Sydney University, Khalil has taught Reward Management, Corporate Governance & Global Environment, Human Resources & Industrial Relations Strategies, Human Resources Development, International Human Resources Management, Managing & Developing Careers, Managing People at Work, Cross Cultural Management, Organizational Analysis & Design, Management Dynamics and Organizational Behaviour.

At Macquarie University, Khalil has taught Strategic Management.

At Central Queensland University, Khalil has taught International Employment Relations, Human Resources Training & Development, Research in Business, People & Organizations, Effective Business Communications, Think Big (Entrepreneurship) and Design Thinking.
