Biography

Keivan is a Lecturer in Construction Management at Western Sydney University. Prior to joining WSU, he worked at Victoria University and Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Keivan completed his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at QUT University and was awarded the Australian Building Codes Board research scholarship.

Keivan's research interests and expertise are:

  • Building Energy Optimization
  • Machine Learning and Buildings
  • HVAC Control Systems (MPC)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Metaheuristics
  • Zero Energy Buildings, and
  • Buildings and Climate Change.
