Biography

Dr Brady is a clinical specialist physiotherapist and SPHERE Clinical Research Fellow in SWSLHD, based at Liverpool Hospital. Clinically, she is a titled Musculoskeletal and Pain Physiotherapist and works clinically in the Department of Pain Medicine at Liverpool Hospital. Dr Brady has research interests promoting equity in healthcare and she completed her PhD through Western Sydney University investigating the ethnocultural influences on the experience of pain and pain management. Her research has led to the development of culturally adapted assessment and treatment approaches for the management of chronic pain among patients from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds. She continues to pursue research investigating new models of care for partnering with consumers and diverse communities in the area of Pain Medicine, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
