Biography

Alexandra Coleman is a Lecturer in Culture and Society in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts at Western Sydney University. She is a doctoral graduate of the Institute for Culture and Society, and her previous academic appointments include Postdoctoral Fellow at the Teachers and Teaching Research Centre at the University of Newcastle, E.G. Whitlam Research Fellow at the Whitlam Institute, and Associate Research Fellow at the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation at Deakin University. She researches the reproduction of class, educational, and place-based inequalities and is the author of Class, Place, and Higher Education: Experiences of Homely Mobility (Bloomsbury 2022).
