Join our friendly student support team for all the tips and tricks of class registration for Spring Semester 2022. This session will cover how to use the handbook, how to make your tutorial preference selections and plan your semester including the opportunity to ask questions.

Academic Literacy Workshop


5 - 22 July 2022
 

During 5-22 July you can attend either an on-campus or online an Academic Literacy Workshop which will cover topics such as the features of academic writing, paragraph structure, essay writing, researching and referencing. Grammar workshops are also available.

Out & About - Hop On Hop Off Tour

8 July 2022
10.00 am - 3.00 pm

Join the Student Events Team on a tour of Sydney on an open-top double-decker bus with onboard audio commentary. Tickets will be active for 48 hours so attendees can explore the sights at their own pace and hop on and off at attractions like Sydney Harbour, the Rocks, Royal Botanic Garden, and Hyde Park. This is a great way to see our beautiful city and make new friends along the way.

Come join our Conversation Convention, brought to you by the English Conversation Groups, where we'll play games of 'Slang Wars' and 'Prompt Comp', and have a chance to chat and share where the goods are in Sydney (Places to visit, food places, events, activities, attractions)! All our welcome!

Out & About - Coastal Walk

8.00 am - 4.00 pm

The 8km Bouddi coastal walk runs from Putty Beach to MacMasters Beach. Boasting beaches, boardwalks and birdlife, it’s known as one of the most beautiful central coast walks. This relatively easy hike is characterised by sweeping views, shady rainforest and inviting picnic spots. There’s a photo opportunity around every corner on Bouddi coastal walk. You might see wildflowers or migrating whales from Gerrin Point lookout, along with the Bouddi National Park Marine Extension and the PS Maitland shipwreck at the eastern end of Maitland Bay.
