Course Frequently Asked Questions

The Bachelor of Nursing is a three year full-time program. 

The course is offered at the Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Parramatta South and Liverpool City campuses, as well as Online. 

This degree has accreditation, recognition and approval from the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMAC). Graduates will be eligible to apply for registration as a registered nurse in Australia. 

The Bachelor of Midwifery is a three-year full-time program. 

The course is offered at the Parramatta South campus. 

This degree has accreditation, recognition and approval from the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMAC).

Applicants wishing to gain entry in the Bachelor of Midwifery will need to apply through UAC. Please note: this course only has approximately 40 places available and is very competitive. Entry into this program is based on both academic merit and performance at an interview with the School of Nursing and Midwifery. 

The course opens doors to a wide range of different career opportunities, including registration as a midwife in a hospital setting or private practice (independent midwifery) as well as insight into research opportunities in this fast-evolving area of health practice.
