Biography

Yeshwanth Bethi received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT B), India, in 2016. He was introduced to neuromorphic engineering while working at the Neuronics Lab, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 2016-2019. He received the Ph.D. degree at the International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems on "Event-driven Neural Architectures".

Yeshwanth's research focusses on developing novel computational architectures inspired by the principles of biological computation and signal processing. His Ph.D thesis focused on developing spiking neural architectures that can be trained using gradient-free local learning rules. His current projects include developing neuromorphic processing solutions for reinforcement learning, cybersecurity, anomaly detection, auditory and vision processing applications.
