Western Sydney University is a registered Higher Education provider with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). TEQSA is Australia’s independent national regulator of the higher education sector and authorises universities to self-accredit its programs. Based on Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 83/P/2020, TEQSA is recognised as one of the international accreditation agencies by the Indonesian government. Western Sydney University has received the permit to establish a branch campus in Surabaya, East Java based on Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Nomor 691/E/O/2023. Based on the decree, Western Sydney University in Indonesia bachelor’s degrees are equivalent to the Indonesian Sarjana degrees.
